Mrs. Amy Barnes Harrington of Kannapolis, passed away at her home Tuesday, June 25, 2024.
Her funeral will be held 11:00 AM Saturday at Wilkinson Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Randall Ritchie. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 5:00 to 8:30 PM Friday at the funeral home.
Amy was born September 9, 1971 in Lumberton, NC to the late Charlie Ray Barnes and Betty Stone Barnes. She was also preceded in death by brothers Mike and Tony Barnes, and grandparents. Amy was a Registered Nurse at NorthEast Medical Center for 20 plus years. She loved nursing !! Amy enjoyed time with the family, going to the beach, her plants, the Atlanta Braves and UNC Tar Heels, and was the wife of the fire chief.
Amy is survived by husband Todd Harrington; daughters Alexis, Charlee, and Candace; grandchildren Paislee, Lincoln, Adalynn Compton and Brantley, and Braxten Styers.
