Born on October 18, 1988, in Charlotte, Ashley was the beloved daughter of Kimberly Park Williams and Gary Williams. She grew up in Concord and graduated from First Assembly Christian School in 2007. With a heart for helping others, Ashley earned her associate’s degree in occupational therapy and spent over 15 years as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in home health. Her patients and colleagues were often touched by her warmth, kindness, and gentle spirit.
Ashley’s vibrant personality and passion for life were evident from an early age. She danced competitively, played softball, and was a proud member of the original Charlotte Knights cheer team during the team’s inaugural years. She loved to travel, never missed a chance to laugh, and found the greatest joy in spending time with her family—especially her nephews, Ford and Hudson, who called her Slashley, whom she adored.
Her loyal dog, Theodore (“Theo”), was her constant companion and source of comfort, always by her side. Ashley’s love extended to all who knew her, and her strength in the face of adversity inspired everyone around her.
She is survived by her loving mother, Kimberly Williams of Charlotte; her father, Gary Williams of Newport, TN; her sister, Amanda Smith and husband Trey of Concord; her brother, Austin Williams of Charlotte; and her treasured nephews, Ford and Hudson Smith. She also leaves behind her grandfather, Billy Park Parrottsville, TN; her beloved dog, Theodore; and many extended family members and dear friends.
Ashley was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Alice Jenkins Park, and her paternal grandparents, Mary and G.D. Williams.
