Betsy Anne Fisher

Betsy Anne Fisher, age 64, of Concord, passed away on February 3, 2026. Born May 7, 1961, Betsy graduated from Concord High School in 1979 and attended Rowan Technical College. She worked for Allstate Insurance Company until she retired in 2000.

She was the daughter of Bobby Ray Fisher and Anne Kibler Barrier Fisher, whom she loved dearly. She is survived by her brother, Bobby Dean Fisher and wife Nikki; niece Sydney Brandon (Dalton); niece Morgan Franklin (Cody); niece Kendal Fisher (Lane Greene); a beautiful great-niece (Lonnie Jo); and two beautiful great-nephews (Mac and Dallas).

Betsy had a special place in her heart for animals of all kinds. She enjoyed the simple things in life such as planting fruit trees and working in her flower garden. All God’s creatures were very close to her heart and she tried to never take any abundant blessing for granted. She loved and lived her life the way she believed life should be lived.

She loved cooking, quilting, painting, and crafting, and if you knew her, you probably had something that she handmade especially for you. She loved to talk with everyone and never met a stranger.

In lieu of flowers, Betsy requested that you make a donation, in her name, to the Humane Society of Concord and Greater Cabarrus, 2010 Wilshire Ct. SW, Concord NC 28025 or to the animal charity of your choice. She had a strong belief that animals make your life better, so please adopt a pet and return the favor.

Funeral arrangements will be handled by Wilkinson Funeral Home. At her request, a graveside service will be held at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis, Saturday, February 7, 2026 at 1:00 p.m.
