Bobby Wayne Bailey passed away Friday, June 20th,2025 due to a heart attack at his home in Polkton, North Carolina.
Bobby was born at Cabarrus Memorial Hospital, in Concord NC on April 8th,1974 to parents James Bailey, and mother Nancy Wilson. Bobby was the youngest son out of seven brothers, his biological brother being Terry Bailey, his half brother Dennis Taylor, and his step brothers, Larry Wilson wife Patricia Wilson, Rick Wilson and significant other Michelle, Johnny Wilson and significant other Laurie, and William Wilson. He is survived by his wife of 23 years Angie Bailey who he loved unconditionally, and his children, Jake Clark his oldest son, Jessica Morton his step daughter, Cameron Bailey the middle child, and Jasmine Bailey being the youngest. He also has one grandbaby. He is preceded in death by his father James Bailey, and step father Richard Wilson.
Bobby enjoyed the simple things in life, such as fishing, drinking a cold miller light, being around family, and grilling out on hot summer days. His favorite place to be would be at the beach, or anywhere with Angie and his children. Bobby also adored his step father Richard Wilson, who he also joins in heaven, always speaking with him while the ladies played bingo, or helping him out with simple building tasks or in the garden. Bobby was the sweetest soul, who would give you the shirt off his back without hesitation, and always loved his children and family with no boundaries.
In his younger days, Bobby worked at Mullis Well Drilling in Monroe NC, and helped out people with other side jobs such as air conditioning servers, ceiling/tile work, and construction building houses. He loved telling stories about working with his boss man Chad and how they'd take hour lunch breaks taking their time to eat and then go back to working, and how he'd help out his good friend Terry Heffner. Bobby would also talk about living at the Outer Banks and remembering when a hurricane came through and there was zero visibility, not able to see your hand in front of your face. He also enjoyed telling stories of going out on deep sea fishing boats and going to school just to walk through one door and out the other. His favorite memory of all is on his wedding day with Angie, telling the marriage officiant "hell yeah man" to marry her.
Out of all things on this planet, Bobby most was inspired by his wife and children. Him and Angie were inseparable, and he always spoke positively about his children wishing them the best in life, encouraging them to shoot for the stars. Bobby also loved his mother Nancy and stepfather Richard, taking his children over to their house every weekend, either having a cookout, going to Jay's fish camp, or to simply just spend time together.
