Carolyn Odom

CONCORD- Carolyn Rose Odom was born to the late Sydney Johnson. She was born in Jackson, Mississippi on March 6, 1949. She passed peacefully on June 30, 2025.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Jerry, Charlie, and Earl Latham. She was the widow of George T. Odom.

Carolyn received Christ at an early age.

She received her early education in Mississippi and received her diploma and college degree in Bronx, NY. She was

employed by the City of New York for 20 years as a social worker before retiring.

She leaves to mourn two children David Lee Odom from Stockbridge, Ga and Lisa Rae Odom from Concord, NC; grandsons, Devon Odom, Dav'var Odom, and Arin Westcott Jr; two great grandsons, Ahmad and Ahmir Odom' three sisters-in-law, Jackie Latham and Mona Lathan both from Jackson Mississippi, and Cornelia Bradshaw of Bronx, Ny. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and friends, including a special dedicated friend, Barbara Sinkfield.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 12-1pm at Wilkinson Funeral Home with the funeral to follow at 1pm in the funeral home chapel.
