Charles Michael “Mike” Barnes

Mr. Charles Michael “Mike” Barnes passed away Saturday December 30, 2023 at Transitional Health Services of Kannapolis.
A memorial service will be held 5:00pm Friday at Wilkinson Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Randall Ritchie. The family will receive friends beginning at 4:00 pm Friday at the funeral home.
Mike was born in Lumberton, NC to Charlie Ray Barnes and Betty (Frances) Stone Barnes. He worked as a garage door installer. Mike enjoyed home life where loved cooking and grilling for the family.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents: Charlie Ray Barnes and Frances Barnes. Paternal grandparents: Glyde Barnes and Ada Barnes and Maternal grandparents: George Cleveland Stone and Ruth Margaret Stone and brother: Tony Lynn Barnes
Mike is survived by sister Amy B. Harrington and husband Todd; nieces Candace, Alexis, and Charlee Harrington; aunts Maggie Sehorn and Diane Gerald; and a number of extended family members.
