Clement Saywack Ramdin

Clement Saywack Ramdin, 74, of Concord, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2026 surrounded by his family.

Clement was born on February 25, 1952, in Berbice, Guyana and was the son of the late David and Rajrani Ramdin. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Dukahni and Dwarka Persaud, as well as his brother, Rudolph Ramdeen, and sister, Yvonne Ramdeen.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Nancy Ramdin; his daughters, Alexandra Thompson (Patrick) and Jacquelyn Ramdin (Peter); and his beloved grandson, Graham, with another cherished grandson on the way. He is also survived by his loving siblings Ahillia Pawaroo, Jerry Ramdeen, and Mureen Persad.

Clement was known for his industrious, entrepreneurial spirit. He served as CEO of Lanscot‑Arlen Fabrics and later Cabtex Fabrics, building a legacy of hard work, determination, and leadership. Those who knew him will remember his generosity, sense of humor, and unconditional love. For Clement, family always came first, and he poured his heart into providing for and supporting those he loved.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 28th, 2026 at Wilkinson Funeral Home at 3:00 p.m., immediately followed by a service at 4:00 p.m.
