Mr. Darrell Grant Newsome, 75, of Concord passed away on April 27, 2023.
Mr. Newsome was born on February 16, 1948 in Cabarrus County to the late Leonard Grant Newsome and Sarah Shoaf Newsome. He is survived by his three brothers Wayne Newsome and wife Elaine, Charles Newsome, and Rodney Newsome, and one sister Gail Porter and husband Ronney.
Mr. Newsome retired from the City of Concord where he worked in the street maintenance department. He was also a U.S. Marine veteran of the Vietnam War.
A private graveside service will be held at West Concord Cemetery.
