David Morton

Mr. David Cyril Morton, Sr., 76 of Concord passed away on Thursday May 8, 2025.

Mr. Morton was born on August 21, 1948 to the late Jesse Hubert and Pearl Olive Coble Morton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son David Morton, Jr. He is survived by his wife Shelby Morton, two daughters, Crystal Morton and Trina Morton York, six grandchildren, Aspen Adams, Caina Ragan, Erika Morton Green, Braxton York, Skye York and Alyssa Austin York along with 8 great grandchildren, Laila Buonya, Leonard Estevez, Lyria Mason, Brayden Ledbetter, Ayla Gage, Casen Ragan, Ariella Gage and Lyla Green.

David will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a painter by trade and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and drag racing.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday May 13, 2025 from 11am-noon at New Grace Baptist Church with the funeral following at Noon officiated by Rev. Allen Montgomery.
