David Robert Gould

David Robert Gould, 86, passed away on Monday, May 13, 2019 at his home, surrounded by family.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, May 24, 2019 at Salisbury National Cemetery, with full military honors by the Cabarrus Co. Veterans Honor Guard and the US Army. The family will receive friends at American Legion Post #51 beginning at 5:00 pm on Friday May 24, 2019.

David was born on May 24, 1932 in Ohiowa, NE to the late Philip and Rose Gerrard Gould.

He was a member of the VFW, American Legion Post #51, Disabled American Veterans, and Vietnam Veterans. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army where he served 3 tours of duty in Vietnam.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Hospice & Palliative Care of Cabarrus County, his Dr.’s, nurses, and staff at VA Hospital, Home Instead staff and aids, and a special thank you to Annette Price, our outstanding Hospice volunteer and friend.
