Donald Worth Johnson Jr.

Mr. Donald "Donnie" Worth Johnson Jr., 74, of Concord, passed away on Saturday, September 26, 2026, after a brief illness. He was born in Cabarrus County to the late Donald Worth Johnson Sr. and Margaret Newell Feimster. He is survived by his wife, Susan Ellsworth Johnson; his brothers, Todd and Rodney Johnson, and his half-sisters, Donna and Holly.

Donnie was a co-owner of the former, Johnson's Superette in China Grove. He was a graduate of Concord High School and also graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 1975. His most recent job was as a security guard for Allied Security at the Perdue chicken plant in Concord.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 1, 2026 at the Wilkinson Funeral Home in Concord from 6-8 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2 at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Wilkinson's Funeral Home.

Mr. Johnson will be remembered as a loving husband, brother and friend.
