Emily Stanton

Ms. Emily Zahler Stanton, age 57, of Concord passed away on Friday October 10, 2025.

Emily was born on January 22, 1968, in Findlay, Ohio to Alfred Zahler and the late Mary Lee Roether. She is survived by her two daughters, Haley Stanton and Rebecca Stanton, one son Connor Stanton, one sister, Mercedes Hughes and one grandson, Christopher.

Emily was a lover, and she was a fighter. She fought hard and she loved harder. She is remembered for her strength in the face of ongoing health struggles. Moreover, for her boundless enthusiasm of life, for her tenacity, creativity, positivity, her enviable cooking, and her passion to travel. She is remembered for how much she loved her children and her grandson, every day, with the fullest heart. She never wanted to miss a moment with her family, and now she will never have to. Her family carries her with them; their love for her, every day with the fullest heart.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
