James Revelle

Mr. James Anthony "Tony" Revelle passed away peacefully at his home Thursday, October 2, 2025.

Tony was born November 21, 1958 in Lexington, NC to the late James Russell Revelle and Mary Ruth Long Revelle. He was also preceded in death by his brother Timothy Revelle.

Tony moved to Concord at an early age. He graduated in 1977 from Concord High School and always had a passion for working on cars. He started his career as an auto mechanic at S&D Coffee working on their fleet of coffee trucks. Then off to Ben Mynatt Chevrolet and Gmax before starting his own business as Revelle Auto Service. Tony retired last year to dedicate more time to his favorite hobby, fishing. Tony will be remembered as an honest and dependable man. He was always willing to help anyone in need.

Tony is survived by his son, Brandon Revelle and wife Jennifer; grandchildren, Myles and Allie; and his sister, Sue Revelle; a host of extended family members including his companion, Jatana Almond and blended family, Janelle Lyon, Dylan Lloyd and Ezra Frye.

A celebration of life for family and friends will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers or food, Tony would say "go fishing !"
