Janet Bryant

Janet Petty Bryant, age 61 of Concord, passed away January 4, 2024 surrounded by her family.

She leaves behind her husband, Malcolm; son, Nigel and his wife, Natalie; daughter, Rhiannon and her partner, Jonathon; sister, Sherylle Diffey and her husband, Alex; brothers, Bob Petty, and David Petty and his wife, Angie. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Lee Petty & Hilda Lee (Edsel) Petty of Kannapolis, N.C.

Janet was hospitalized by a stroke in September but was able, after an extended stay, to attend her son's wedding before another stroke forced her return. She was very rarely alone, deeply loved by a huge circle of friends, family and her dogs, Dexter and Aza Lee. Prior to the stroke she performed a variety of diverse roles such as expert decorator, gardener, counselor and was a talented accountant. We will be forever grateful for her selfless devotion to her children, husband, and siblings.

A private celebration of Janet’s life will be held for the family.
