Jean Harrington Lewis

 Jean Harrington Lewis, 83, of Concord, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, March 20, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Born November 28, 1942, in Cabarrus County, Jean was the daughter of the late Roy Wilson Harrington, Sr. and Autie Mae Greene Harrington. She was also preceded in death by her son, Harry "Arden" Lewis V; siblings, R.W. "Dub" Harrington, Jr., Janet Marie Harrison, and James David "Jim" Harrington.

She spent her life in the Concord area, where home and family were always at the center of who she was.

Jean was a woman who found joy in simple pleasures. In her earlier years, she worked at Carol May Hosiery, but she was most at home caring for those she loved. She enjoyed arts and crafts, loved settling in with her favorite soap operas, and especially treasured the time she spent with family. Her life was not defined by fanfare, but by the quiet, familiar moments that brought her comfort and joy.

Jean leaves behind her daughter, April Bentley of Concord, who lovingly cared for her and remained devoted to her through the years. She is also survived by four precious grandchildren, Mynasia Pack, Myzaiah Pack, Lorenzo Fezza, and Geno Fezza, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members.
