Mr. Jeffrey Alan “Ratt” Porter, age 63, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Saturday, December 4, 2021.
A graveside service with military honors will be held on Thursday, December 9 at 11 am in West Concord Cemetery. The family will speak to friends afterwards.
Jeff was born August 20, 1958 in Cabarrus County, a son of the late Ralph Cecil Porter and Elizabeth McEachern Porter. He was also preceded in death by his son, Robert, and a brother, Cecil. He was a 1976 graduate of Central Cabarrus High School. Jeff served our country in the US Air Force, and then had a career in Food Service.
Survivors include his son, Shane Porter; his brother, Ronney Porter; and numerous other relatives and friends.
