Jeffrey Ellis Roberts

Jeffrey Ellis Roberts, 65, of Mooresville, NC, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at 2:58 PM, at Deal Care surrounded by love.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at Wilkinson Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Rev. Larry Bost and Rev. Ken Reed. The family will greet freinds from 1:00-1:45 pm prior to the service.

Born in Concord, NC, on February 27, 1960, Jeff was the son of the late Doris Jean Edwards Roberts and Joe A. Roberts, Sr. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Alan D. Roberts.

Jeff's life was marked by resilience and quiet strength. At just six years old, he underwent surgery to place a shunt and later contracted polio-challenges that shaped his journey but never diminished his gentle spirit. He worked for many years at Cabarrus Workshop, where he formed lasting friendships and was known for his reliability, kindness, and willingness to help others.

Outside of work, Jeff found joy in life's simple pleasures-feeling the beat of music, watching tv, laughing and cutting up with his friends, sharing time with loved ones, and being present for those he cared about.

He is survived by his brother, Joey Roberts, Jr.; sister-in-law, April W. Roberts of Mooresville; nieces, nephews, and many other extended family members and friends who will cherish his memory.

Jeff will be remembered for his infectious smile, warm heart, steadfast loyalty, and the quiet but profound impact he made in the lives of those around him.

The family would like to thank all of Jeffrey's caregivers for their love and care over the years.
