Mrs. Jessie Mae Denson Boyd, 94, of Harrisburg, NC passed away on Monday April 6, 2026.

Mrs. Boyd was born on August 27, 1931 to the late Walter Liles and Ona Marie Fiddler Denson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Silver Joe Boyd; two sons, Alan "Sarge" Darryl Boyd and James Alvin Boyd.

 Mrs. Boyd is survived by her daughter, Denise Hanson; one brother, Ronnie Denson; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Mrs. Boyd was a retired Beautician where she owned operated her business for over 60 years. She enjoyed gardening, bird watching, reading, especially cook books, along with sewing, weaving baskets, shopping and thrifting, also enjoyed arts and crafts. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

The family will receive friends on Thursday April 9, 2026 from 11:00 am-12:00 pm at Wilkinson Funeral Home with the funeral following at 12:00 pm with Rev. Larry Morgan officiating. Burial will take place at Carolina Memorial Park Cemetery.
