Mr. John Ira Furr, Jr., 58, passed away on Wednesday, August 30, 2017.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at Wilkinson Funeral Home.
John was born in September 5, 1958 in Concord, NC to the late John Ira Furr, Sr., and Ruby Dover Furr.
He was a Veteran of the US Navy and had worked for many years at Furr’s Painting.
He is survived by his sister, Pinky Honeycutt; 2 nieces; 2 nephews; 2 great-nieces; 3 great-nephews; 3 great-great-nieces; 3 great-great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758516, Topeka, KS 66675-8516.
