Joseph Pless

September 18, 1941 — February 25, 2024

Mr. Joseph “Joe” Franklin Pless passed away Sunday, February 25, 2024 at Atrium Health Cabarrus.

A graveside service will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday at St. James Catholic Cemetery with Father Dau officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 11:00 AM Wednesday at Wilkinson Funeral Home.

Joe was born September 18, 1941 in Concord to the late Frank P. Pless and Lottie Barnhardt Pless. He was also preceded in death by grandchild Jami Pless. Joe graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School, Class of 1959, and enlisted in the U.S. Army. Joe later was a truck driver for several different companies. He spent other time working on his farm and raising cattle.

Joe is survived by his wife Sue Kelly Pless; sons Frank Pless (Sara), Billy Pless (Ashley), stepsons Ryan and Larry Willover; grandchildren Damon, Sidney, Kendall, Elisabeth and Madison; great grandchildren Carson and Remi Pless; and a number of extended family members.
