Judith Starnes-Little

Judith Kay Lisenby Starnes-Little passed away peacefully Friday September 26, 2025 at Atrium Health Hospital. She was 81 years old. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend. 

Visitation will be at Wilkinson Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral will be held Thursday, October 2nd, at 1pm. The family will receive friends from 11:30am until 1pm. Burial will follow at West Concord Cemetery located on Union Cemetery Road. Rev. Larry Bolick will officiate.

Judy was born in Cabarrus County on January 27, 1944 to Lillie Ann Henley and Floyd Lisenby. Judy was raised by her mother and stepfather Lloyd Anderson Jordan Sr.

Judy attended Coltrane Webb Elementary School and Concord High School. After graduating she worked for Kaiser Roth Hosiery Mill and later worked for Allstate Insurance where she retired. 

Judy was preceded in death by her first husband Floyd Junior Starnes, second husband Stewart "Buck" Little, brothers: Michael Jordan, Dale Jordan Sr., sisters; Laura Dummond and Robin Prince.

Judy enjoyed spending time at her lake house, going to the beach, traveling, line dancing, family, her grandchildren and friends.

Those left to cherish her memories are her son; David Lee Starnes, sister Sheila Ervin, brother Richard (Vicki) Jordan, sister-in-law Dianne Jordan, brother-in-law Steve Prince, grandchildren Alyssa, Joshua, David Micah, Xzavier and Jerimiah Lee. One great grandchild, Theo Love. Special niece Keara Prince, a most treasured friend Connie McBride and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the many doctors and nurses at Atrium Health Cabarrus Hospital in Concord and Pruitt Health in Harrisburg for her rehab.
