Ladd Parker Beach, born July 21, 1955, in Buffalo, New York, passed away in Concord, North Carolina, on May 4, 2026.
Ladd grew up in East Aurora, New York, and joined the United States Navy at the age of 17. He proudly served aboard the USS Saratoga. Following his discharge from the Navy, he worked various jobs before beginning a 20-year career with Gypsum Systems, a drywall company where he served as a field supervisor.
In 1985, Ladd married the love of his life, Peggy Marek Beach, and together they celebrated 41 wonderful years of marriage. In 1997, they relocated to North Carolina with their four children and opened the first of two family businesses. They owned Beaches' Final Touch Services, specializing in cleaning out foreclosed homes, and later Ladd operated a business selling day-old bread to local stores.
After Peggy retired from nursing in 2021, the couple began traveling across the United States with the goal of visiting many of the National Parks. Ladd especially enjoyed hiking and spending time in nature alongside Peggy.
His hobbies included motocross and dirt bike riding, passions he enjoyed throughout his life. Above all, Ladd was devoted to his family. He was a proud father to Nathaniel Beach (Crystal Tapp), Samuel Beach (Diana Galicia), Cassandra Beach (Scott), and Jordan Beach (Tessa Lombardo), and a proud "Gramps" to Jackson "Jack" Beach.
He is also survived by his siblings, David Beach (Elizabeth Cooke), Nanette Lally (Rick), and Martha Fluent (Thomas); as well as his brother-in-law, Charles Rapalje.
Ladd was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Jessie Beach, and his sister, Denise Rapalje.
Anyone who knew Ladd spoke highly of him as a generous, quiet, and kind man who was always willing to lend a helping hand when needed. He professed his faith in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, and he and Peggy faithfully attended Friendship Southern Baptist Church.
Ladd is now worshiping before his Lord for all eternity while being deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
