Larry Eugene Myers

Mr. Larry Eugene Myers passed away unexpectedly Thursday morning, February 5, 2026 at his home in Concord.

A graveside service will be held at 1:30 pm Wednesday, February 11th at the National Cemetery in Salisbury.

Larry was born October 30, 1941 in Lexington, NC to the late Leland Taylor Myers and Opal Moody Myers. He served in the U.S. Army and later graduated from the University of North Carolina-Charlotte. Larry retired from the Federal Reserve in Charlotte. In his spare time Larry enjoyed golfing and reading. He loved music and had a hidden talent for singing some Elvis tunes. Family meant everything to him, and he showed that through his constant love, loyalty, and generosity.

Larry is survived by his wife, Barbara Morrison Myers; brother-in-law, Gary Morrison; sisters-in-law, Carol Barbee, Linda Morrison, & Angie Morrison; nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, great-great-nephews, and other extended family members.
