Larry Watson

Larry Wayne Watson, 75, of Kannapolis, passed away on July 8, 2025, at The Living Center in Concord, NC, after three years of declining health.

Larry was born on March 6, 1950, to James Kirby Watson and Viola Virginia Watson. He attended A.L. Brown High School and spent his career in construction, working with Starr Davis, Daniels, and Beacon construction companies. After retiring, he worked at Lowe's Home Improvement and enjoyed fishing in his spare time.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Watson Sr.; his mother, Viola Watson; his brothers, Bobby Watson and Kirby Watson; and his sister, Dottie Neal.

Larry is survived by his daughters, Alisha Fain (Jason) and Amanda Roberson (Troy); his granddaughter, Makenzie Fain; and his brother, Jerry Watson (Linda).

The family would like to thank the staff at The Living Center for their kind and compassionate care, especially Troy, who helped transport Larry to many of his doctor appointments.

Service: A private service will be held in July.
Interment: Carolina Memorial Park, Kannapolis, NC.
