Mr. Larry “Wayne” Griffin, 49, passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at Atrium Health-Cabarrus, surrounded by his family.
A funeral service will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at Wilkinson Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 2:30-4:00 prior to the service.
Wayne was born on March 2, 1970 in Concord, NC to the late Billy Gerald Griffin, Sr. and Blenda Cook Griffin. He was a Tow-Truck driver for most of his life and enjoyed fishing, fire trucks, and his dogs.
He is survived by his wife, Cassandra “Candy” Lambert Griffin; son, Michael Wayne Griffin; mother, Blenda Griffin; brother, Billy G. Griffin II.
