Linda M. Dennis

Linda M. Dennis, 77, of Midland, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on December 17, 2025, at her home, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born on July 1, 1948, in Charlotte, North Carolina, to the late Elaine C. McDaniel and Robert "Bob" McDaniel. Linda lived a life defined by kindness, devotion, and a deep love for those around her. She was a graduate of East Mecklenburg High School and began her career at NCNB during the 1960s and early 1970s. After stepping away from the workforce to raise her children, Linda found her true calling in education, serving as a teacher assistant at Bethel Elementary School. For many meaningful years, she poured her heart into nurturing and encouraging young students, touching countless lives before retiring.

Linda was a devoted wife to William "Buddy" Dennis, with whom she shared nearly 53 years of marriage. Together, they built a warm and welcoming home filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life-trips to Myrtle Beach, relaxing in the salt air, fishing and spending time at the ball field with friends.

Above all else, Linda's greatest joy was her family. She treasured every moment with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, showering them with affection and unconditional love. Her gentle spirit, warm smile, and caring heart will forever remain in their memories.

Linda is survived by her loving husband, Buddy Dennis; her daughter, Renee' Wills and husband Kelly, of Polkton, NC; her son, Jerritt Dennis, of Wilmington, NC; her siblings, Janet Knight of Charlotte, and James E. McDaniel and wife Faith of Hemby Bridge; her grandchildren, K.J. Wills, Nicky Wills, and Markayla Graham; and her great-grandchildren, Kole Wills, Jaymason and Vivian Graham.

Linda will be remembered for her gentle kindness, her devotion to family, and the quiet strength with which she lived her life. She will be deeply missed, but her love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
