Paulette C. Garmon

KANNAPOLIS-Linda Paulette Cress Garmon, 75, passed away at her home on December 9, 2025.

In honoring Paulette's request there will be no public funeral or visitation.

Paulette was born in Cabarrus County on August 6, 1950 to Raymond Lee and Nannie Mae Lemmonds Cress.  In her younger years she loved rollerskating.  She even represented Frye's Skating Rink in the Christmas parade as a lettergirl.  It was at Frye's where she met her future husband, Bobby.  Her and Bobby were married on March 19, 1967 at the age of 16!  Paulette attended Concord High School and worked as a CNA.  She loved hummingbirds, snowmen, and Maggie Valley.  Mostly, she loved her family and was a proud grandmother.  She was preceded in death by her grandson, Chris Donahue.

Mrs. Garmon is survived by her husband of over 58 years, Bobby Wayne Garmon; sons, Bobby Garmon(Linda)of Concord and Terry Garmon(DaNae) of Concord; daughter, Paula Donahue(Larry) of Concord; eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
