Margaret Campbell

Margaret Mullis Campbell, age 80, of Concord, passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at Tucker Hospice House, Kannapolis.

A service celebrating Margaret's life will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2025. Visitation will be at 11 AM-12 Noon at Wilkinson Funeral Home, with a service following at 12pm, Wilkinson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. Pastor Clark Remsburg will officiate.

Margaret was born on November 8,1944 in Concord. She was the daughter of the late Basil and Louise Mullis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donnie Ray Campbell, the love of her life. Also, by Sister- in- Law, JoAnn Talbert (Ray) and her Neice, Debbie Talbert.

Margaret spent years of her life working in floral design at Ben Franklin Crafts. She loved every minute. She made floral arrangements, bows and wreaths. Yov've never seen more beautiful work. She did it with such ease and joy.

Margaret had a deep and unconditional love for all of her family and friends. Nothing meant more to her. She enjoyed working in her yard. She loved to cook, especially for all of the family. We will especially miss the Walnut Cake, chicken casserole, ooey gooey chocolate cake and whatever Rachel Grace requested. She loved everything that she could do with her Granddaughter, Rachel Grace. They enjoyed shopping (a lot of shopping) , lunching, getting ice cream, laughing, silly snapchats, and just being together.

Left to cherish her memory are her beloved son, Michael Dean Campbell (Abbey) and her sweet Granddaughter Rachel Grace Campbell, Sister/best friend, Brenda Mullis Oakley (Ricky), Nephew Chris Helms (April) and daughter Briar, Niece Cathy Smith (Lanny), Great Niece Holly Wyke(Ben) and sons Palmer and Harper, Great Niece Amanda Hoffman(Josh) and daughter Adyson, Great Nephew Dustin Burris(Allie) and daughter Stella, and cousin Katherine, and best friend Pat(Tim)
