Mark William Johnston

Mr. Mark William Johnston, 61, of Stanley, NC passed away on June 1, 2026.

Mr. Johnston was born on December 7, 1964 in Cherry Point Marine Corps Air Station, NC to Mrs. Theresa Mullis Johnston and the late William Lee Johnston. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife Lisa Johnston, and sons Caleb Gauge Johnston (Sara), Michael Blankenship (Brook), Cody Blakenship (Chelsea).  Grandchildren, Landon, Sawyer, Parker, Gracie and Ashlynn.  Nieces and nephews, Kristine, Selena, Johnathan and Bailey.  Special thanks to Mary Blakenship for her support in the final days.

The family will receive friends on Thursday June 4, 2026 at Wilkinson Funeral Home from 6-8pm.

A memorial service will be held on June 13, 2026 at 3pm at 450 South Myrtle School Road, Gastonia, NC  28052.
