Patsy Jean Christy Fink

Mrs. Patsy Fink, born Patsy Jean Christy, lovingly known as Pat, was born in Cabarrus County on December 6, 1933, the eldest daughter of the late John Howard Christy and Hattie Severt Christy.

Patsy was preceded in death by her first husband, George Dulin; her beloved son, Richard "Rick" Dulin; and her husband of 56 years, Joe Donald Fink. She was also preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.

She leaves behind a cherished family legacy, including her two grandchildren, Richard C. Dulin and Shawn Christy Davis; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren, who will carry her memory and the love she gave them into generations to come.

Patsy was an independent and hardworking woman who opened and operated Pat's Poodle Palace for many years. She found joy in caring for animals and took pride in building a life through her own dedication and determination.

A lifelong Baptist, Patsy held her faith close to her heart. In her later years, when she could no longer attend church in person, she continued to nurture that faith by watching church services and programs on television. Her faith remained a source of comfort and strength throughout her life.

More than anything, Patsy believed in the importance of love and kindness. Her final words to those around her were a simple yet lasting message:

"Love and be kind to each other."

Those words are perhaps the most beautiful reflection of the legacy she leaves behind. May those who knew and loved Patsy carry her memory forward by living those words-loving deeply, choosing kindness, and cherishing one another.

Her life was a gift to her family, her friends, and all those whose lives she touched. She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever carried in the hearts of those who knew her

A graveside service will be held at 4:00 pm on October 10, 2026 at Oakwood Cemetery, 471 Church St N, Concord, NC 28025.
