Ralph Maynard Clark, 92 passed away on April 11, 2026.
A private graveside service will be held at St. James The Greater Catholic Church Cemetery.
Ralph was born in Utica, NY on July 10. 1933. He was one of two children born to Merion and Marian Jones Clark. He is a veteran of the Korean War having served in the US Army (CPL-T) from 1953 to 1963. He was raised in Utica,NY where he met Lenora Reilly who became his wife of 60 years. After serving in the Army he began a 35 year career with IBM. His work relocations led him to Marquette, MI, Kingston, NY, Europe, Raleigh, and finally winding up in Charlotte. He made his home in Concord. He was an active member of St. James The Greater Catholic Church and St Josephs Catholic Church. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus for over 50 years. During his retirement he spent 17 years volunteering with the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #9, a job which he took seriously. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lenora in 2020, and his sister, Inez.
He is survived by daughters, Gail Davis and Judith Sullivan (William); sons, Kenneth Clark (Judy), Robert Clark, and Donald Clark (I’Ans); seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
