He was born February 28, 1946 in Concord to the late John Howard Christy and the late Hattie Severt Christy. He was also preceded in death by 3 sisters.
Ray is survived by a son, a daughter, and a sister.
He was a veteran of the US Army.
A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.
