Richard Talbert

Mr. Richard Marshall Talbert, Jr. age 65 of Concord, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Atrium Health Cabarrus.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, January 2, 2021 at 1 pm at Carolina Memorial Park, with Rev. Dr. Jim Collier officiating.

Richard was born July 20, 1955 in Cabarrus County, a son of the late Richard M. Talbert, Sr. and Beth Townsend Talbert.

Richard graduated from Concord High School and was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church. He loved to fish, until his health started failing. Richard had a soft spot for animals, especially his cat of 20 years, Smoky.

Surviving Richard is his sister, Karen L. Talbert, Smoky, and many friends. He will be missed, but, has reunited with his mom and dad in heaven.
