Robert Alexander

Mr. Robert "Bob" Earle Alexander passed away surrounded by his family Tuesday morning, July 29, 2025.

Bob's funeral will be held 11:00 AM Friday at Rocky River Presbyterian Church officiated by Dr. Rev. Neal Carter. The burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends beginning at 9:30 AM Friday in the Fellowship Hall.

Bob was born January 13, 1942 in Charlotte, NC to the late William Fred Alexander and Iris Marett Alexander. He was also preceded in death by his wife Gail Russell Alexander.

Bob graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a professional engineering degree and worked with Brown and Alexander Architect Engineering Firm. He was an avid photographer and genealogist and also enjoyed a good round of golf.

Bob is survived by daughters Mary Alexander of Harrisburg, and Jennifer Gold and her husband David of Hays, NC; son Robert "Rob" Alexander, Jr. and his wife Jenn of Thomasville, NC; sister Carol Lyerly and her husband Jim of Harrisburg; brother William "Bill" Fred Alexander, Jr and his wife Julie of Harrisburg; grandchildren Kathryn, Andrew, Arielle, Tristan, Sebastian, and Liam; great grandchildren Hunter, Mason, Gage, Carter, and Miles; and a number of extended family members.
