Ronald "Ron" George Nunn, 76, of Concord, NC, passed away on July 23, 2025, in his home in Concord.
Ron was born on October 20, 1948, in Cuba, New York, to Robert Francis Nunn and Marjorie Mae (Mowers) Nunn. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Maureen (Rung) Nunn
He graduated from Cuba Rushford High School and went on to earn a degree from Alfred University. A proud veteran, Ron served in the Army's 101st Airborne Division during the Vietnam War, where he received a Bronze Star for his service. For approximately 15 years, Ron was a familiar face as a Little Debbie distributor. However, his true passion lay in carpentry. A self-employed handyman, he possessed the remarkable ability to fix almost anything, pouring his heart into remodeling houses. Ron found joy in simple pleasures. He was fascinated by honeybees, diligently tending to his colonies and producing honey. Music filled his life, with a special fondness for bluegrass and country tunes. He was known for his unique talent of playing the spoons.
He is survived by his loving children: Nicole Nunn and her husband, Daniel Rimer, of Kannapolis; Jake Nunn and his fiancé, Tracy Mason, of Concord; and Tim Nunn of Freedom, NY. He is also survived by his sister, Sandy Lowe, and her husband, Rod, of Pennsylvania, as well as his cherished grandchildren, William, Ethan, Lucas, and Jack Nunn.
Ron's warm spirit and willingness to lend a hand will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
