Ronnie Roberts

Mr. Ronnie Darrall Roberts, age 80 of Concord passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 10, 2025, at Atrium Health in Charlotte.

A graveside service with military honors will be held on Monday, July 14th at 12:00 pm at West Concord Cemetery with Pastor Allen Montgomery officiating. Pallbearers will be Curtis Johnson Jr., Brandon Roberts, Michael Burris, Michael Castelli, Chris Mullis and Jamie Campbell. Following the graveside, the family will receive friends at their home at 9560 Poplar Tent Road, Concord, NC 28027 until 5 pm.

Ronnie was born May 11,1945 to Harold Jackson Roberts and Mary Inez Clark Roberts. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Mahalie Johnson.

After high school, Ronnie enlisted and proudly served in the US Navy. He had a career as a construction foreman with Propst Construction and retired with Blythe Development in his career. When he wasn't working, he loved fishing and spending time with his family.

Ronnie was a wonderful and loving husband to Teresa Burris Roberts for 56 years; he was a loving father to son, Craig Roberts, his fiancé, Suzanne Shue, and daughter, Renee Roberts; proud of his grandsons, Brandon Roberts (Nikki Sams), and Curtis Johnson, Jr.; his sister, Taska Hudson; a host of extended family and friends who loved Ronnie and will miss him dearly.
