Shirley Ann Lefler Tuck

Mrs. Shirley Ann Lefler Tuck, 85, of Concord, passed away Sunday, March 1, 2026, at The Greens at Cabarrus.

A graveside service will be held Thursday at 1:00 PM at Carolina Memorial Park, with Rev. Jim Strickland officiating.

Shirley was born May 4, 1940, in Cabarrus County, the daughter of the late Stella Geneva Easley Lefler and the late Spencer Lefler. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Coleman Tuck; sisters, Marcia Russell and Lois Burns.

Shirley worked for many years in the hosiery mill industry, where she was employed as a sewer. She was known for her strong will and independence, but those closest to her also knew her gifts and the ways she showed love-especially through her sewing, her enjoyment of shopping (including her QVC days), and simple times eating out with family. She also loved church and the comfort it brought her.

She is survived by her son, Terry Plott; her grandson, Alex Plott; and her sisters, Sue Furr and husband, Harley and Stella Vanita Helms and husband, Larry; a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
