Steve Hatley

Mr. Steve Franklin Hatley, 71, of Concord, was welcomed by angels to come home to the Lord on Saturday, July 5, 2025 at Atrium Health Cabarrus.

His funeral will be held 1:30 PM Thursday at Saint James Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Beginning at 12:30 PM Thursday at the church.

Steve was born in Albemarle August 10, 1953 to the late Berry Hatley (1986) and Ruth Almond Hatley (2006). He attended West Stanly High School and received an Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Central Piedmont Community College. Steve was employed by Duke Energy in 1974.

Steve is survived by his wife of 44 years Roberta (Robin) Barnhardt Hatley; sisters Myra H. Morton of Locust, and Reba H. Tucker of Oakboro; and a number of extended family members.
