Renee Roberts

It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of Sylvia Renee Roberts, age 54, who passed away on August 29, 2026.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, September 12, 2026 at Wilkinson Funeral Home. Following the memorial service, the family will host a Celebration of Life at their home beginning at 1:00 pm. There you will be able to visit with the family, share a meal and wonderful memories.

Renee was born on May 26, 1972 in Concord, NC to Ronnie Darrall Roberts and Teresa Burris Roberts. She was preceded in death by her father, Ronnie and her daughter, Mahalie Johnson.

Renee leaves behind her beloved son, Curtis Johnson Jr.; her mother, Teresa Roberts; and her brother, Craig Roberts, along with extended family and many friends who loved her dearly.

Renee was a truly remarkable woman whose life was defined by her caring heart, kindness, compassion, and unconditional love for others. She was the kind of person who would do anything for anyone. She never hesitated to lend a helping hand, offer a listening ear, or be there for someone in need. Her loving spirit touched countless lives, and her absence will be deeply felt by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Above all else, Renee was an amazing mother. Her love for her family was immeasurable. She was a source of strength, comfort, guidance, and unconditional support. She gave her heart completely to the people she loved and always wanted the best for her family.

The loss of Renee leaves a place in her family that can never be filled. Her family will forever cherish her voice, her smile, her laughter, her hugs, and all of the memories they shared together.

Renee's kindness and compassion were a reflection of the beautiful person she was. She made a difference simply by being there for others, and the love she gave so freely will continue to live on through everyone she touched.

Though our hearts are broken by her passing, we can find comfort in knowing that Renee's love will never truly leave us. She will live on in the memories we hold, the lessons she taught us, and the love she gave us.
