Thomas Smith

Thomas Roland Smith, age 67, of Salisbury, passed away Friday October 24, 2025, Surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on February 13th, 1958, in Concord North Carolina, Thomas was the son of the late Clarence and Ethel Smith.

Thomas was a family man as he loved his family and enjoyed spending all the time, he could with them. Most of all his grandkids were the joy of his life. He also enjoyed everythingand all things trains. Thomas also served in the Army 82ndAirborne division, where he was a Green Beret.

Thomas is survived by his loving wife Alice Smith, his daughter Crystal Long (Sammy), Son Thomas Smith Jr (Carol), his stepdaughter Jordan Jarrell (Tripp), stepson Trey Stokes, and ten grandchildren who will all cherish his memory.

A funeral service will be held Monday October 27th, 2025 at Wilkinson Funeral Home at 7pm. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 6:00-7:00pm with the service to follow in the chapel at Wilkinson Funeral Home.
