Trent Allison Furr, 63, passed away at his home on September 10, 2025.
Trent will be honored with military graveside rites and laid to rest at the Salisbury National Cemetery. Services will take place Thursday, September 25, 2025 at 2:30pm.
Born October 25, 1961, in Cabarrus County, Trent was the son of the late Jerry Allison Furr and Gail Ruth Martin Furr. He proudly served in the United States Air Force, retiring as a Tech Sergeant. During his time in the military, Trent worked as an AGE (Aerospace Ground Equipment) mechanic, specializing in the maintenance and repair of generators and other essential support equipment. After his service, he continued using his mechanical talents to fix just about anything with a motor.
Trent had a deep passion for muscle cars, especially Chevelles and Monte Carlos, and was known for his love of animals—he shared his home with five beloved cats. A proud veteran, he displayed his patriotism proudly through his extensive memorabilia collection.
He is survived by his loving sister, Trena Furr of Concord, along with special cousins and extended family members.
In honor of Trent’s love for animals, memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Concord, 2010 Wilshire Court SW, Concord, NC 28025.
