William Robert "Little Willie" Clay age 44 of Concord, passed away leaving behind a space that can never truly be filled. He lived on Wilson Street, where many memories were made and where his love for family was always felt.
He was a devoted husband to his wife, Lisa Clay, and deeply loved by his mother, Tammy Clay and father, the late Big Willie Clay as well as his sister, Jo Cline and brother-in-law Curtis Cline. He took great pride in being an uncle to his nephew, Landon Cline and nieces, Madison Cline and Fallon Baldwin, who meant the world to him. He cherished every laugh, milestone, and moment spent with them. He is also survived by his father-in-law, Larry Howard, and brothers-in-law, Bobby and William Howard.
Family was his anchor. No matter what was going on, he showed up for the people he loved. He had a way of making others feel happy, understood, and never alone. Music was one of his greatest passions, especially drumming. It was where he found joy, release, and expression. The rhythm he carried through life will forever echo in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
Willie will be remembered for his big heart, his loyalty to family, and the love he gave so freely. Though his time here was far too short, the memories he created will live on forever.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 8, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at Eastside Free Will Baptist Church in Concord. Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate his life.
